About the Clay & Craft

This platter is hand-built from white clay — shaped by hand without a mould, with four individual wells sculpted directly into the base of the tray. Two larger oval wells sit at the top and bottom for cheeses or dips, while two smaller round wells in the centre are perfect for jams, honey, or olives.

The signature striped glaze is applied by hand in sweeping horizontal bands of vivid yellow and soft periwinkle blue, blending and pooling naturally in the kiln to create a painterly, one-of-a-kind finish on every piece. The outer edge is finished with a beautifully scalloped, ruffled rim — hand-crimped for a sculptural touch.
