Her twig-like legs wrapped around her father’s shoulders.
Surrounded by the whitest lilies ready to be picked.
As I watch them by the riverbed,
I sing to her,
“Vedana Paarathanthryathinte vedana,
Poru Bhageeratha veendum”,
to remind her of a time that stood still.
